Be a 4-H Volunteer

The St. Johns County 4-H Youth Development Program is seeking caring adult volunteers to work with 4-H youth ages 5-18 in St. Johns County.

As a 4-H club or project leader, 4-H volunteers have an opportunity to share their interests with youth. Whether it is sewing, rocketry, gardening, animal science, dog, air rifle, wildlife/environmental education, character education, photography – the reward of sharing your interest with a young person is priceless.   Through a “learn by doing” experience,  4-H volunteers help youth learn leadership, citizenship and a variety of life skills that promote positive development.

If you are interested in being a St. Johns County 4-H volunteer please contact  the 4-H Office at the St. Johns County Extension Office (3125 Agricultural Center Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32092) or call the 4-H office at 904-209-0430.  4-H volunteers have the flexibility to determine the amount of time, location and subject area they prefer.  Volunteers receive full assistance of the 4-H Office, including training, office support, and a variety of resource materials and project curriculum.

Get involved and make a difference in the lives of our St. Johns County youth by becoming a 4-H volunteer.
