How can you participate?

You can participate in 4-H through school 4-H clubs, community clubs, special interest groups, afterschool programs, camps and many other activities.  Although there are many common activities, each county in Florida has its own unique programs and areas of emphasis.

In what do clubs engage?

Clubs usually engage in project work, business meetings, special interest programs, as well as educational, recreational and social activities.

When do clubs meet?

This depends on the group.  School clubs may meet monthly for 30 minutes to one hour during the school year.  Community clubs, special interest groups and afterschool programs may meet for an hour or two after school, in the evening or on Saturday.  Some clubs meet once a week, others once or twice a month.  Once you are accepted by the club you have selected, you will receive information about meeting times.
